The ambulance driveway leading from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s (QEH) main vehicular point of entry to the Accident and Emergency Department will be closed to vehicular traffic this weekend.

This temporary road closure is to facilitate the repainting of the driveway’s road markings.

It will be reopened to vehicular traffic from midnight on Sunday.

Motorists are asked to enter and exit the Accident and Emergency Department through the hospital’s main exit located on Martindale’s Road, St Michael. Those transporting passengers to the hospital’s main entrance will enter and exit the QEH through the customary vehicular entrance point on Martindale’s Road.

Security personnel will be on site to effect these changes to the flow of traffic.

The Board of Management of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital apologised for any inconvenience caused. (PR/SAT)
