The woman who died in an accident at the Barbados Port was a passenger onboard cruise vessel Saga Sapphire, which arrived this morning.
She has not been named, but police say the 87-year-old died in the area known as the Breakwater, located to the western side of the Deep Water Harbour.
According to police, the fatal accident occurred around 10:50 a.m. It involved a 10-wheeler truck driven by 35-year-old Anthony Omar Walcott of Belair Walk, Oxnards, St James.
The woman died on the spot.
