The show will go on.

A loud cheer went up at the National Stadium when Minister of Sport John King announced the finals of the 2020 National Primary Schools’ Athletics Championships (NAPSAC) would continue.

For a while, spectators, athletes and organisers were not sure if the meet would continue after Minister of Health Jeffrey Bostic announced Barbados’ first two cases of COVID-19.

Some tension filled the atmosphere as spectators awaited the official word and many people searched their phones, seemingly looking for information. (AG-B)
