The Ministry of Health and Wellness has identified two additional symptoms of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

In a statement from the ministry, Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Anton Best said the newly recognised symptoms are the loss of taste and, or smell.

He said the decision to add these two symptoms is based on emerging evidence internationally, as well as local experience. The common symptoms previously identified are fever, sore throat, difficulty breathing and cough. (BGIS)
