No new virus cases for four consecutive days

Two more people will be released from isolation today. 

Thirty-five people tested negative for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) yesterday, including the two who will be released from isolation today after two negative test results within a 48-hour period.

A press release issued by Government Information Service said this is the fourth consecutive day that Barbados has recorded no new cases of the viral illness. The tally of infected people remains at 75 out of a total of 1 035 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory since February 11.

Barbados has recorded five deaths since April 4. There are 51 people in isolation. (BGIS)
