Barbados and Caribbean junior squash king Khamal Cumberbatch will be entering one of the United States’ top squash schools, Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, in September.

“Within the last 21 years, they won 14 straight titles and have been in the finals like 20 times, so they are consistently strong.

If you can make it into their line-up, you deserve to be playing squash,” he told NATION SPORT in a recent interview.

“The competition is a lot stiffer than anything I have ever experienced before.”
The 18-year-old Cumberbatch said his major objective when he gets to his new college is to break into the top nine players.
