One of Barbados’ most promising junior national footballers has scored a big goal.
Attacking midfielder Nathan Skeete is now closer to making his dream of becoming a professional athlete a reality, after securing a two-year scholarship at the North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) in the United States.
Skeete, who can also be deployed at wing-back positions, will major in physical education.
“It’s a wonderful feeling but it is only phase one. I also feel relieved because it is very late in the recruiting stage and most colleges would have already used their funds. ” (AGB)
