St Kitts franchise dump Carlos

Share post:

Dashing West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite has been dumped by St Kitts and Nevis Patriots for the forthcoming Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season, after captaining the franchise last year.

When contacted yesterday in England, the 31-year-old Barbadian declined to comment.

However, Brathwaite, who has played 41 T20 internationals for the West Indies, had a disappointing 2019 CPL with the bat, scoring just 99 runs in 11 innings at an average of 9.90 as the Patriots reached the final four playoffs.

He did much better with the ball, collecting eight wickets, including three for 30 in a Man-Of-The-Match performance against Barbados Tridents at Kensington Oval last September.(MK/CMC)
