The funeral cortege for Barbados’ longest serving Prime Minister The Right Honourable Professor Owen Seymour Arthur has made its way past Kensington Oval, heading north on its way to St Peter’s Parish Church, where the service will be held at 2 p.m. today.

The procession left Lyndhurst Funeral Home close to midday and made its way past Harrison College, where Arthur received part of his education, on to the first stop at Heroes Square in front of Parliament Buildings, where one minute’s silence was observed.

Arthur, who is being accorded a state funeral, passed away on July 27. (KG)
