Trio remanded

The three men charged in connection with a shooting incident in the Marl Hole were remanded to HMP Dodds when they appeared in Court on Wednesday.

Magistrate Douglas Frederick, who was presiding over the sitting in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court, remanded them to reappear on September 16, 2020.

They are Andre Dwayne Burgess, 40 years, of Airy Hill, St Joseph; Ramario O’Neal Boxill, 24 years, of 3rd Avenue Spring Garden, St Michael and Jadai Junior Clarke, 25 years, of School Lane, Halls Road, St Michael.

The shooting incident occurred on August 9 at Halls Road, St Michael in the area commonly known as the Marl Hole.

Burgess is charged with criminal damage, use of a firearm, violent disorder, endangering life and assault with intent to prevent lawful apprehension, while Boxill is charged with criminal damage, use of a firearm, violent disorder and endangering life.

Clarke faces charges of criminal damage, use of a firearm, violent disorder and endangering life, possession of ammunition and two counts of assault with intent to prevent lawful apprehension. (PR/SAT)
