Tony Cozier, the late iconic Barbadian cricket commentator and journalist, will be honoured with a local tournament in his name.

The Tony Cozier 23 and Under Youth T-6 Cricket Festival is set to bowl off on September 27 at the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) and will be played over four weeks at the same venue.

Sixteen teams are expected to compete in the inaugural festival with the winners receiving a prize of $500 and the Tony Cozier Challenge Shield.

The runners up will walk away with $250 while the two losing semi-final teams will grab $125. (AGB)
