He is just waiting for the pandemic to “cool off” before he seeks help for his drug problem.
So said Lyall Anthony Burnett when he appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court.
Burnett, 55, of no fixed place of abode, had pleaded guilty to entering Pirates’ Cove, between February 2 and 9, and stealing two cases of beer bottles belonging to Geoffrey Bynoe.
He also admitted having a cocaine apparatus on February 9.
“I tell myself I is 55, I gine be 56 this year, I gine hold off the drugs. I gine wait for COVID to cool off and I gine go get help,” the many-time convicted thief told the court last week. (HLE)
