The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) said today that most of the pumping stations are back up and running, the majority on electrical power from the Barbados Light & Power.

Apart from areas which traditionally have supply issues and receive daily water tanker service, there are residents in some districts, for example in St James, who may also be experiencing water outages.

“We have 12 water tankers on the road today assisting customers in several parishes – mainly St Thomas, St Joseph, St Lucy, St John, St Andrew and St Peter.

Persons in areas impacted by outages are advised delivery times may fluctuate due to tanker refilling times and demand.

Service outages can be reported by calling 434-4292. (PR)
