In an effort to improve the security at the Cheapside/Lower Green van stand, the Transport Authority erected a fence around a section of the stand.

However, vendors, who ply their trade in the vicinity where the fence was erected, complained that the structure was impacting their ability to sell produce.

Director of the Authority, Ruth Holder, said a team visited the vendors in the first week of the month and explained that the fence would be placed there.

Holder added that the fence was completed last Sunday. (SB)
