The Barbados Meteorological Services continues to monitor the progress of a tropical wave and associated area of low pressure located near 28W.
“This system remains in the early stages of development, however, guidance continues to suggest possible tropical cyclone development over the next five days. A general northwestward motion is expected with this system and therefore is not likely to pose any direct threat to the island,” the Met Office said in a bulletin today.
The BMS said it will continue to monitor the progress of this feature over the next few days.
Members of the public are advised to continue to monitor all updates and alerts. The next update will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. (PR)
