Jean Forde has been found alive. Her son, Minister Adrian Forde said she was found this morning around 8 o’clock on a road which would lead her home, though she appeared a bit disoriented.

He said his mother had no known medical history of dementia but was currently being assessed by medical personnel.

Forde thanked the Barbados Police Service, the Barbados Defence Force, Prime Minister Mia Mottley, his Barbados Labour Party colleagues, the media, social media and especially his constituents and friend, fellow Minister Dr William Duguid, for all their support and for searching for his mother day and night.

Jean Forde was first reported missing on Tuesday around 10 a.m. after leaving home to travel along a bushy area. She was said to usually go there to gather material for handicraft. (CA)
