  1. Many things fall through the cracks as stringent measures are not enforced – breathalyser testing, illegal lights and tints in vehicles, refusal to pay back loans to the student revolving loan fund when you have the means to do so, those that owe millions to government and get away without paying because of who they are or who they know, or what they offer, but then those that owe pittance are hauled before the courts and jailed. Give them warnings, call them until it makes them squirm. Name and shame them, bar them, take away their company license, licence to practice law, medicine, whichever discipline etc. A total upheaval is required in this society at all levels if the country is to be productive, efficient and create the required change to make Barbados a better place. Many are working hard to do the right thing and create the required change, but if this systemic inaction is not rooted out, it is all talk and no action.
