Jamaica shaken by earthquake

Jamaica was rocked by an earthquake today.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake measured 5.4 on the Richter scale and it was approximately 4 km west northwest of Hope Bay.

It was recorded at a depth of 10km.

Reports of damage are now being reported.

On X, formerly Twitter, Prime Minister Andrew Holness urged residents to stay safe.
