Sergeant Kemar Burke was testifying in the murder trial of Shakira Carlann Blackman in the No. 4 Supreme Court.
Blackman, 35, of 4th Avenue, Park Road, Bush Hall, St Michael, is accused of murdering Shanice Miller on November 27, 2021.
Burke, who is attached to the Digital Evidence and Cyber Crime Unit, said Station Sergeant Terry Pierre handed him a black and purple Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus cell phone on December 3, 2021.
