Derek Sebastian Abrahams, 49, of Windsor Road, Christ Church, has been charged with multiple drug offences following an incident on March 30.
The Barbados Police Service said Abrahams was arrested and charged by officers from Oistins Police Station with possession, intent to supply, and trafficking cannabis.
Police reported that the suspected cannabis weighed approximately 3 kilogrammes, with an estimated street value of $24,000.
Abrahams appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, where he pleaded guilty to the offences.
He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 and is scheduled to return to court on May 4 for sentencing.
