Police have formally charged 28-year-old Deron Akoya Daisley of Gemswick, St Philip with firearm, ammunition and stolen property offences.

Police said Daisley was charged in connection with possession of a firearm and seven rounds of ammunition on May 12, 2026, in District “C”. He was also charged in District “A” with handling stolen property allegedly committed between February 8 and 13, 2025.
Daisley appeared before Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District “A” Criminal Court No. 1 earlier today.
He was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service.
He is scheduled to reappear in the District “C” Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 15, 2026.
