A 61-year-old man died at the scene of a road traffic collision involving a public service vehicle (PSV) and a pedestrian on Walkers Road, St George, on Tuesday evening.
The deceased was identified by a relative as Phillip Greaves, of Thropes Cottage, St George.
Police said the collision occurred around 6:15 p.m. as the PSV and Greaves were travelling along Walkers Road from Carmichael towards The Glebe.
Greaves succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
Investigations are continuing.
