THE ST MICHAEL SCHOOL has launched a programme with the help of Ryerson University in Canada to help make the school a greener place.
The Canadian institution donated hundreds of reusable water bottles to the school as the students embark on a healthy initiative of drinking more water and at the same time protecting the environment.
Salisha Mohammed, the visiting admissions/liaison officer with Ryerson, made the presentation of bottles yesterday. She explained that twice a year the university visited the school to speak with the sixth formers about career choices.
On one of those visits, guidance counsellor Margaret Grant spoke about the project and Ryerson gladly undertook to supply the bottles. (AC)
