JUST ONE DAY after the Privy Council in London ruled that the old constituency boundaries be utilised for Monday’s upcoming general election in St Kitts and Nevis, the Opposition Team Unity coalition is without a voters list.
Tim Harris leader of Team Unity: “The Privy Council ruling clearly directed that the Dr Denzil Douglas led administration distribute the voters list existing prior to the Proclamation of January 16.”
Regional political commentator Peter Wickham also commented on the mounting political tension in St Kitts and Nevis.
St Kitts and Nevis has approximately 36 000 voters in 11 constituencies. (BN)
