THE BARBADOS EMPLOYERS’ CONFEDERATION (BEC) has gone into a new phase of the organisation with the launch of its National/Caribbean Vocational Qualifications programmes.

Courses in level two management will soon be offered to managers at companies within the confederation, as well as members of the general public. Registration is currently open on-line.

Speaking at the launch this morning labour management advisor at the BEC, Brittany Brathwaite, said the BEC has been working closely with the Technical and Vocational Education Training Council in developing the programmes.

Courses will be offered in occupational safety and health and other areas in the near future. (YB)
