THIS country’s leading batsman of the last decade, Ryan Hinds, says he is “hurt and disappointed” that he has been left out of the 13-man Barbados Pride squad named for the fifth-round WICB Professional Cricket League first-class match this weekend against Leeward Islands Hurricanes at Kensington Oval.
Hinds told the MIDWEEK NATION he was shocked by his exclusion after his fine performance against Guyana – his only first-class match this season – that helped Barbados to a stunning victory in Providence last November.
“I am in a daze. I had an outstanding match against Guyana, enjoying my cricket, and find it hard to understand why I have been left out of the team.
