THE ANNUAL Courtesy Garage Top 8 tennis tournament was completed last weekend, and once again Russell Moseley came out on top.
He didn’t even have to pick up his racquet to win, as challenger Richard Hornby could not recover from an ankle injury to take the court.
The invitational event, which features the top players for the year from the Race of Champions series, saw Moseley capture the title for the second straight year.
Moseley reached the final by eliminating Kyle Frost 6-2, 6-1 in the first round, and then followed up that performance by ousting Adam Hornby 6-2, 6-2 in the semi-finals. (ROG)
