BARBADIANS WILL NEED to continue making sacrifices, but Government is seeing “some light” in the gloomy economic landscape.
This was a message which Prime Minister Freundel Stuart delivered yesterday while addressing the annual Errol Barrow memorial service, held at the Vauxhall Methodist Church in Christ Church.
Noting that two Methodist ministers had referred to the tough times in preceding addresses to the congregation, Stuart said: “We are going to get through this; no matter how long a night lasts, dawn has to break. There’s nothing called everlasting night or everlasting day either.
“And I am pleased that we are beginning to see some light but we have to continue our vigilance and our discipline and our sacrifices and, in the fullness of time, with the providence of God, we will meet at the rendezvous of victory.” (TY)
