A FEMALE SECURITY GUARD working at an institution that deals with vehicles has been sneaking around on the job with a mechanic who works next door to the company.
This undercover affair is causing some unease among her colleagues who sometimes have to work with her husband, who is also a guard but is stationed at another location.
Some of them are pondering whether they should tell hubby about his cheating wife so that he can either put the brakes on the illicit relationship or drive his wife away from his home.
Many seem to be in favour of hubby being informed, as several of the workers do not like wifey because she is always gossiping and meddling in other people’s business.
Sigh of relief
Many people breathed a sigh of relief when a rambunctious gay man was recently arrested.
this man has been terrorising people and scandalising their names, especially on social media sites. He delights in gathering dirt on his enemies, and if they respond to his posts he unleashes a vicious tirade on them.
So it was quite amusing when videos were posted online with him in Bridgetown being all loud and belligerent and getting arrested by the cops for making himself a fool as usual.
People are saying that a few days behind bars should be able to cool down some of his negative passion.
Ultimate scam
It seems that a certain man has gotten away with the ultimate scam.
He abandoned his father at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital several months ago, claiming that he was sick while he and his woman are living off the old man’s pension.
Upset residents in the close-knit St Michael district have called the National Insurance Department and the police about the situation, but no one has turned up to investigate.
They say the old man deserves to be in his house where he belongs and not at the hospital because he’s not sick.
They are disgusted that this wayward son has now taken up the old man’s residence although he had moved out several years ago and never looked back.
Hotel staff blue
Management at a certain hotel has been short-changing staff on service charge for a long time.
But the workers have decided they are no longer tolerating this nonsense after they received a mere pittance over the Christmas period when the hotel was booked to capacity.
Furthermore, they have the figures which other hotels paid their staff and things are just not adding up.
The manager has been avoiding them like the plague in response to their questioning the obvious disparity and the only answer he gives is, “Check with the accountant”.
Staff are saying that they deserve to be treated fairly at this hotel since they bend over backwards to make sure that the guests are treated like royalty.
Word has it that they may be planning some industrial action to get the word across to their bosses or else they may call in the health officials about the rodents running around the kitchen or the many buckets they have to place throughout the offices whenever it rains.
