Shout for justice

They were 120 or so but a vocal group of marchers who took to the streets of Bridgetown in support of retrenched National Conservation Commission workers yesterday.

The protesters included retrenched workers, staff of Government departments and shop stewards, who braved the sun and intermittent showers for 45 minutes.

They shouted and carried slogans calling for justice, as well as the resignation or removal of Minister of the Environment Dr Denis Lowe. (HLE)
