CCC set Barbados Pride 214 via Duckworth/Lewis

INTERRUPTED BY TWO breaks for rain, Combined Campuses and Colleges’ innings ended on 177 for three from 43.5 overs, setting Barbados Pride a revised target under the Duckworth/Lewis Method of 214 to win in 43 overs in their day/night warm-up match tonight at the 3Ws Oval.

Both teams are preparing for the start of the Nagico Super50 tournament in Trinidad and Tobago which gets on the way, ironically, with the first game against these same two teams on January 15.

Dominican Kavem Hodge top-scored with an unbeaten 43 from 79 balls with two boundaries, when the rains came.

Kyle Hope stroked four boundaries from 75 balls in his contribution of 42 after Paul Palmer (19) and Shacaya Thomas (31) had shared an opening stand of 49. Kyle Mayers was unbeaten on 19 when the innings came to a premature end after a stand of 57 with Hodge. (HE)
