Two Nigerians fly in to help

TWO NIGERIANS based in Trinidad flew into Barbados yesterday on the first available flight to investigate the situation involving 90 students from the West African nation who are unhappy with their accommodation here.

Dr Oti Esimaje and his cousin, who did not want to give his name but who is said to be a wealthy Nigerian businessman, expressed dismay about the plight of the students and that police had been summoned for them.

Yesterday evening, they attended a meeting at the Casa Grande Hotel where the students are staying and urged organiser Donna St Hill to find alternative accommodation for them.
