After a five-year lull in activity, the weather-beaten and vandalised Bridgetown Heliport may soon be back in business.

Minister of Housing and Lands Denis Kellman, whose ministry is responsible for Government’s properties, says he has been informed that another helicopter business is to take over the site off Hincks Street, The City, which Bajan Helicopters had used.

Kellman said he was still to receive the “relevant documentation” covering the name of the company, specifics of the business and how soon the operation would begin.
