NPC: Gas use by some over limit

BLAME IT on increased customer demand.

This, said a release from the National Petroleum Corporation (NPC), was the main reason behind recent natural gas outages experienced by restaurants along the West Coast.

The release revealed that officials from the NPC and the Barbados National Oil Company Ltd met with senior officials of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., the Barbados Tourism Product Authority, Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association, Barbados Manufacturers’ Association and Minister of Industry and Commerce Donville Inniss yesterday and shared plans for the continued delivery of natural gas.
