SOCIAL SCENE: Saying thanks

The air was festive, and Mac Fingall turned up the heat with his witty commentary and funny antics at the Christmas by the Sea reception hosted by telecommunications provider Digicel and smartphone giant BlackBerry.

The men and women from corporate Barbados got all dressed up for the party at the LoneStar Restaurant in St James, where the chef ensured fare was sumptuous and the bar matched the continuous waves rolling in to the nearby seashore.

It was Digicel’s way of say ‘Thank you” and ‘Happy Holidays” to top clients from industry, the business sector and Government.

As the night wore on, tuk band rhythms gave way to the more sedate sounds of Philip 7 and his band, prolonging the Christmas mood.
