Shaquille Lavine and Lucky Camille, the two wonder kids of the Michael Riley Invitational Classic, are keen to move to the next level and are targeting 2015 to showcase their improvement.
Lavine, the best teenaged bodybuilder in the country and the champion junior at this year’s national championships, is now on a high after his straight first victory in the Invitational Classic at the Combermere School Hall, over the weekend.
That now is history and 19-year-old Lavine, who has competed six times this year and eight times in the last 12 months, is taking a break with his eyes fixed on being bigger and better for next September’s national championships.
“I was good tonight (Sunday night) but I can be a lot better. I am taking a break for sure and should be back on stage at the nationals,” said Lavine, who trains at the Fitness Workshop gym.
Zico Best, the reigning Mr. Schoolboy, took second place and once again showed he is one for the future. He has good balance, but he requires thicker lats that will give him much needed width.
