BATTERED ATHLETE Raphael Jordan is back home hoping to have surgery on his left eye.

He is expecting to have that operation later this week.

Jordan, who was attacked in a gym last Monday at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus in Jamaica where he is student, arrived on a Caribbean Airlines flight from Kingston yesterday evening.

He was scheduled to have surgery done there, but because of a backlog of patients along with other challenges, he was unable to be facilitated in a timely manner and was allowed to return to Barbados for treatment.
