Jamaican on drug charges

A JAMAICAN NATIONAL is expected to appear in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today on drug charges.

He is 40-year-old Steve O’Neil Williams who police say passed 119 packages of cannabis, weighing two and a half pounds, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Williams arrived by air on November 26 and was interviewed by police after clearing immigration and then referred to the QEH.

He will face charges of possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation. (PR/NB)
