MANCHESTER, England (AP) – Radamel Falcao is in contention for a return to Manchester United’s squad as manager Louis van Gaal reported mixed injury news ahead of the English Premier League match against Hull today.

Van Gaal says Falcao, who has missed United’s last four games with a calf injury, “can come back in the (matchday squad of) 18” against Hull at Old Trafford.

Argentina defender Marcos Rojo could also return from nearly a month out with a dislocated left shoulder.

However, England left back Luke Shaw is out for several weeks with ankle ligament damage, although Van Gaal says there are no “serious complications”.

United are fourth in the standings after their 2-1 win at Arsenal last weekend.

Falcao has started just three games for United following his expensive loan move from Monaco.
