Theāsemi-finalists were decided in the Berger Paints National Primary Schools Road Tennis Tournament following some exciting clashes at the Blackman & Gollop Primary School on Tuesday.
Milton Lynch Primary enjoyed a great sporting day by dismissing Lawrence T. Gay 3-0 thanks to Zarico Ramsay defeating Tyrese Connell 21-16, Shaquan Applewhite whipping Raskeye Hoyte 21-7 and Shaquar Shepherd destroying Shamar Moore 21-3.
George Lamming also scored a commanding 3-0 victory over Ignatius Byer with Thierry Toppin crushing Dontae Scantlebury 21-5, Tre Bayer dominating Mehkail Griffith 21-4 and Ajar Roach mincing Riel Rock 21-2.
Blackman & Gollop did not waste their home advantage as they beat Half Moon Fort 3-0. Zion Leacock stopped Rashad Greenidge 21-12, Kemari Griffith defeated Jaquan Benn 21-11 and Jarad Brewster beat Jamari Benn 21-10. Hilda Skeene enjoyed a walkover from the defaulting Deaconsā Primary.
The teams will return to the same venue on December 2 for the semifinals with Blackman and Gollop taking on Hilda Skeene and George Lamming battling Milton Lynch. AS Auto Stop is also a sponsor of the inaugural tournament. (KB)
