MISSING: Monique Maria Benn

Please be advised that Monique Maria Benn has been traced and is safe.

THE POLICE ARE SEEKING the public’s assistance in locating a missing girl.

Missing is Monique Maria Benn, alias “Destiny”, 13 years, a pupil of Grantley Adams Memorial Secondary School who lives at Drax Hall Woods, St George.

Monique is about 5 feet tall and slimly built, with a brown complexion. She has a round head and small ears pierced once.  She also has a large nose and mouth, is knocked kneed with an erect appearance, pleasant manner and has a heavy voice.

She left the home of her mother Margaret Benn-Baptiste about 6:15 a.m. yesterday dressed in school uniform.

At the time, she was carrying an orange and purple North Face haversack and was last seen in the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal.

Anyone with information relative to the whereabouts of Monique Maria Benn is asked to contact Central Police Station at 430 7169/7676, Operations Control at 430-7100, via the Emergency number 211, or the nearest Police Station.   (PR/SAT)
