Students first, says bus board

THE BUS HORRORS being experienced by commuters could get worse in just over a week.

With no additional staff and several Transport Board buses off the road for repairs, more delays and cancellations can be expected when the new school year commences on September 8.

This is because the emphasis will be on transporting children to and from school.

“They’re our first priority,” the board’s general manager Sandra Forde said yesterday.
