Stabbing death

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the unnatural death of 37-year-old Antonio Stanford of Phillips Road, St Stephen’s Hill, St Michael.

It is reported that he received a stab wound to his upper chest during an altercation in his neighbourhood sometime after 1:30 p.m.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by a private motorcar and was later pronounced dead.

Police say another man is currently undergoing treatment at the QEH for multiple stab wounds.  It is believed that he was involved in the same incident. He was taken to the QEH by ambulance.  (PR/NB)
