Spring Garden clean up underway

THE DUST HAS settled on Crop Over 2014 and the clean-up is continuing.
In between intermittent rains, workmen are on Spring Garden Highway dismantling the stalls and removing all evidence of Grand Kadooment, which climaxed the sweetest summer festival yesterday, and almost gone is the garbage left behind from the festivities.
The few vendors present reported decent sales over the long weekend for Bridgetown Market and especially on the last day when there was an invasion of revellers from mas bands and the thousands who came out to take in the action. (YB)
