Faith Imani Hoyte is this year’s Starcom Network People’s Monarch.
This afternoon her song Bacchanal Road was announced the winner of the competition. It secured 64 per cent of the votes beating out Feeling by Lead Pipe & Saddis.
Imani became the first female to win the competition since it started in 2003.
“It is indescribable the way I feel. I cannot express how happy I am to have the support of Bajans,” she said shortly after she was announced the winner. (LK)
