Two men accused of wounding another man were granted $5 000 bail on Wednesday.

Jason Grenville Forrester, a 35-year-old salesman, of Great House Road, Grazettes, and Rodney Orlando Oneal Brathwaite, a 27-year-old bottle processor, of Hurley’s Land, Fairfield, Black Rock, both in St Michael, were not required to plead to wounding McNeil Sandiford with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him last August 25.

Prosecutor Constable Kenmore Phillips did not object to bail for the two men, who were represented by Rashida Edwards and Kyle Walkes. However, he asked that conditions be imposed.

Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant released each man on $5 000 bail with a surety. She warned them to stay away from the complainant, report to the Black Rock Police Station every Wednesday, and apply to the court for permission to travel.

They both return on October 23.
