Man on cocaine charge to appear in court today

A Guyanese national will appear in court this morning to answer drug charges.
He is 33-year-old Dwayne Edward Adams of East Bank Demerara who was charged with four offences including possession of one and a half kilos of cocaine with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.
Police this morning said that Adams arrived in Barbados by air on May 17 from Trinidad around 4:27 p.m.
He was cleared by Immigration and Customs officials and subsequently interviewed by Drug Squad personnel on duty at the airport.
Adams was referred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he passed 104 packages.
He is to appear in the District B court today.
