DEAR CHRISTINE: Hubby will be called to account

Dear Christine,
My letter concerns Hurting Inside, the woman who found out that her husband is having an affair with her daughter from another relationship.
This letter is the most hurtful thing I have seen in a while. If what the writer alleges is true, then that individual she is speaking about cannot be referred to as a man and the person he is in love with is not a woman.
My dear, God is in his Heaven watching the deeds of man. Your husband will be called to account someday and nobody likes retribution – the mother of revenge.
Sacrifice and make it on your own, girlfriend, even though he married you.
He may be smiling now, but he who laughs last laughs best.
His first worry is getting free of you to marry this other person and without your cooperation, this is next to impossible, since the law states that he has to provide for you while you are still married and leave you comfortable if you so desire.
If and when you grant him his freedom, be firm and familiarize yourself with the law as it pertains to women (married and otherwise) and their rights. Talk to your mum, a pastor or a counsellor, but don’t let your friends influence you in negative ways which might seem good at the time but always come back to haunt you. Pray before you make a final decision on anything.
As Christine said, you seem resilient. Do not let this bad experience determine your choices in the future. Just be careful. It hurts now, but time is a healer; I know.

Dear Ms D. Shepherd,
Thank you so much for your wisdom and excellent advice. I’m sure that Hurting Inside is much stronger than ever before.
– Christine
