A BUFF-LOOKING Chestnut had a soca queen roasting on an open stage.
And the blush that spread across her glistening face and the momentary catch of breath, even if it were by design, told the tale.
Alison Hinds stood out at the inaugural Caribfest Awards at the gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex on Sunday night, and it had little to do with her snug, glittery outfit.
Hinds was well into her performance and rolling it, when movie star Morris Chestnut appeared on stage.
Like members of the audience, she did a little double take but continued with the song. When it became evident that he was coming her way, she stopped momentarily to accommodate him.
Fans did not get to see if Chestnut had any wukup skills, but the quick kiss was more than enough for Hinds. She was so blown away by that little smooch, that she promised fans she was not going to let him leave Barbados. Chestnut and his co-host Vivica Fox were whisked away from the gymnasium immediately after the event.
