MINISTER?OF?FINANCE CHRIS SINCKLER is saying nothing about a 39-page audit report by forensic auditors Deloitte Canada into CLICO International Life (CIL) – at least until he receives a full, official report from the judicial managers.
“I really don’t have [any] comment on any of that,” he said yesterday. “As you know, the CLICO matter is one that is presently before the court. It is also a regulatory matter.
“I myself have not seen an official copy or have not been given a copy of the report which I saw in THE NATION.
I am therefore incapable of responding to something which I just saw in the newspaper.
